Job summary

AtriCure, Inc. is seeking a Cardiac Sales Manager to drive strategic sales of ablation, left atrial appendage (AtriClip), and cryo nerve block technologies in hospital environments across Washington state.

You will develop territory plans, identify new customers, and exceed quotas while mentoring clinical specialists. The role involves travel, cross-functional teamwork, and participation in industry trade shows, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of medical device sales experience with knowledge in cardiac surgery or related space.
• Cardiac surgical ablation systems highly preferred.
• Demonstrated track record of sales quota achievement.
• Strong clinical and technical aptitude.
• Ability to travel 25-30% depending on territory size and location.
• Ability to pass hospital credentialing processes.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, develop, and close direct sales of AtriCure’s ablation, left atrial appendage (AtriClip) and cryo nerve block technologies in the hospital setting.
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the designated territory to achieve targets.
• Identify new customers and opportunities through networking and collaboration within and outside the organization.
• Increase penetration in existing accounts and grow the base business.
• Coordinate with Hybrid Therapies, Cryo Nerve Block teams and sales leadership to meet corporate goals.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Professional Education to share industry trends and feedback.
• Mentor field clinical specialists for optimal patient and customer outcomes.
• Attend industry trade shows and events as needed.
• Manage territory and track customer activity.

What Impact You Can Make as a Cardiac Sales Manager

Prospecting, qualifying, business and program development, and closing direct sales of AtriCure’s ablation, left atrial appendage (AtriClip) and cryo nerve block technologies in Cardiothoracic operating room and related departments within hospitals.

• Develop, implement and execute a strategic sales plan for designated territory to achieve assigned targets
• Continually identify new customers, contacts and opportunities via networking and collaboration in and outside of the organization and territory
• Increase penetration and adoption within existing accounts to build upon and grow the base business
• Work closely with the Hybrid Therapies and Cryo Nerve Block teams, along with sales leadership to cross functionally coordinate activities to achieve corporate sales goals and targeting between all functions and franchises.
• Work with Marketing and Professional Education to share industry news and trends and receive feedback of the same
• Mentor and partner with your field clinical specialists for best patient and customer outcomes.
• Attend industry trade shows and events as needed
• Manage your territory and track customer activity

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• 5+ year medical device sales experience with specific knowledge and selling experience related to cardiac surgery or related space
• Cardiac surgical ablation systems highly preferred
• A documented track record of successful sales quota achievement
• Strong clinical and technical aptitude
• Ability to travel 25-30% depending on territory size, location and maturity
• Ability to pass account and hospital credentialing processes
