GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for performing stress tests in the Nuclear Laboratory (routine, SPECT and PET stress tests) and general patient care.
LOCATION: Roaming: Gainesville and Lake City
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The job holder must demonstrate current competencies applicable to the position.
EDUCATION: Certified or Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Certified EMT or Paramedic, or any other cardiac stress testing training required.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum one year or more of relevant experience and/or training.
REQUIREMENTS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) CPR certification maintained. Completion of required competencies within 90 days of employment.
ENVIRONMENTAL / WORKING CONDITIONS: Combination of office, exam, and clinical settings. Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and other hazards common in clinics.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Standing, walking, bending, stooping, stretching, pushing, pulling, reaching, kneeling, grasping, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, and manual dexterity. Full range of motion required. Occasional stressful conditions and irregular hours.
