Job summary

ChristianaCare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the HVIS Preparation & holding Unit in Newark, DE. The role supports patients undergoing procedures across Cardiac Catheterization, EP, and Vascular/Neuro labs, with cross-training into the Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Lab.

Flexible shifts include 8-, 10-, and 12-hour rotations and weekend coverage. The ideal candidate has BSN or is pursuing it within three years, BLS, and at least one year of cardiac/critical care experience, with DE RN

Qualifications

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire.
• BLS Certification Required.
• ACLS Certification preferred.
• One year of cardiac or critical care experience as a Registered Nurse required.
• Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the HVIS Prep & Hold Unit, including preparation and recovery for procedures in Cardiac Cath Lab and related areas.
• Cross-train in the Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Lab to expand skills.
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care in a collaborative team environment.
