Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with department standards and nursing practice. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to provide compassionate, evidence-based care and advocate for patients and families.

You will assess patients on admission and during shifts, perform procedures, administer medications, monitor responses, and educate patients and families about treatment plans and follow-up care.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS certifications required within 30 days of start date.
• RN licensure and nursing degree required (ADN/BSN or Diploma).
• Registered Nurse with appropriate state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in medical records.
• Provide prompt, compassionate care and anticipate patient needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, plans, meds, side effects, and follow-ups.
