Job summary

Hartford HealthCare’s Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, CT is seeking a professional Registered Nurse to join our compassionate team. This on-site role supports patient care across units, with a Mon/Wed/Fri 9am–5:30pm shift at 80 South Main St, Winsted, CT (10478).

You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, document and evaluate care, educate patients and families, and ensure safety and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• ACLS BLS/CPR Certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills.
• Active CT RN license.
• Associates Degree Required, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
• Minimum 2 years Cardiac or Critical Care Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, document and evaluate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and safety.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and high satisfaction with care.
