Job summary

CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking a Cardiac Rehab RN to guide patients through cardiac recovery with education and compassionate care.

You will assess complex conditions, monitor progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize healing and long-term wellness plans. Strong clinical and communication skills required.

Qualifications

• ND RN license required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or higher (RN).

Responsibilities

• Supervises the staff and department under the direction of the CNO.
• Provides direct nursing services to cardiac rehab patients; plans care, discharge planning, assessment, education, and documentation.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As a Cardiac Rehab RN, you will be a pivotal caregiver, guiding patients through critical cardiac recovery and empowering them and their families with life-changing support and education. Every day, you will expertly assess complex cardiac conditions, meticulously monitor patient progress, and collaborate seamlessly with our multidisciplinary team to optimize healing and long-term wellness plans, ensuring no two days are alike. To be successful in this role, you will combine acute assessment skills and an adaptable, detail-oriented approach with a compassionate drive to go the extra mile, shaping enduring positive health outcomes for every patient.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the staff and department under the direction of the CNO.


• Provides direct nursing services to cardiac/pulmonary rehab patients, adapted to the patients’ age and needs: Initiates and revises the plan of care, assists in discharge planning, assess patients, provides education, and accurately documents each encounter.


• Demonstrates accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible team fashion.


• Revises and initiates new policies according to AACVPR and facility guidelines.


• Takes immediate action in unsafe situations (example: proper tagging and reporting of equipment malfunction or wiping up water/urine spills). IRIS reporting.


• Shares expertise by mentoring, precepting, or teaching an in-service or class.

Required

Job Requirements

• Associate Of Nursing Sys/Div/Mkt/Local Supervisor OR Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of one (1) year experience in the discipline or three (3) years’ experience in the discipline or Master’s Degree


• Registered Nurse: ND


• Basic Life Support (BLS) - CPR


• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), within 90 Days

Preferred

• One-year ICU/Medical/Surgical experience

Pay Range

$26.82 - $39.90 /hour
