Job summary

Newton-Wellesley Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Rehabilitation program in the 2014 Washington Street facility. The role requires care for patients post-MI, CABG, valve surgery, and heart disease, with telemetry monitoring and education responsibilities.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, managing treatment plans, performing assessments, and responding to adverse events, meetings BORN standards and care quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Registered Nurse MA State License required.
• 3 years Critical Care experience within last 5 years.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and vital signs during exercise.
• Provide group patient education and individualized treatment plans.
• Perform physical assessments and patient evaluations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and respond to adverse events.
• Maintain competency with cardiac rehab protocols and standards.
