Job summary

Tenet Healthcare's DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital in Michigan is hiring an Exercise Physiologist for Cardiac Rehab. Under supervision you will create individualized exercise prescriptions and risk-factor modification plans, and educate clients.

You will lead programs and support staff, contributing to high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment. Candidates should have a BS in Allied Health or related field (Masters preferred), 1–2 years in cardiology, and BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Allied Health or related health discipline, internship preferred.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience in Cardiology preferred.
• American College of Sports Medicine Certification as a Certified Exercise Specialist preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate individualized exercise prescriptions and risk factor modification programs.
• Designs, implements and participates in educational programs for a variety of clients.
• Provides direction, assistance and instruction to support staff, as appropriate.
