Job summary

Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg, MO, is seeking a Staff Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab nurse (RN) to direct and perform nursing care within the scope of licensure. This role reports to the Nursing Director and requires effective prescription, delegation, and coordination of patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Missouri RN license.
• ACLS and/or Red Cross ACLS required or obtainable within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess adult cardiac/pulmonary nursing care needs.
• Monitor and support cardiac/pulmonary rehab patients.
• Communicate patient status and adherence to plans with physicians.
• Document nursing interventions as per policy.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and team duties.
• Assist co-workers and support department mission.
