Job summary

Freeman Regional Health Services is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to coordinate patient care in Cardiac and Pulmonary rehab settings. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care tailored to rehab patients.

You will develop exercise/rehab plans based on evaluations, monitor patient progress, and provide teaching to patients and families. A strong advocacy stance and teamwork are essential to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice is required upon hire.
• 1-3 years of clinical or hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care for assigned patients using the nursing process.
• Utilizes nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in Cardiac and Pulmonary rehab settings.
• Develops exercise/rehab plans based on patient evaluation and assessment.
• Performs ongoing evaluations of patient compliance and response to therapy and adjusts care as needed.
• Provides or delegates patient/family teaching, documents participation and response.
