Job summary

Baystate Health, a Magnet Hospital and academic medical center, is seeking an inpatient Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. The RN will provide post-procedure and post-catheterization care in a 33-bed unit, joining a cohesive team dedicated to patient safety and excellent outcomes.

Requirements include MA RN licensure, current BLS CPR certification, ADN (BSN preferred), and a minimum of 1 year RN experience.

Qualifications

• Passed the Board of Registration in Nursing Examination or equivalent.
• Licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient RN care in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit.
• Collaborate with the unit team to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.
• Follow unit protocols for post-procedure and post-catheterization patients.
• Document care plans, assessments, and patient progress accurately.
