Job summary

Baystate Health in Springfield, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Assessment and Evaluation (CARE) Unit at Baystate Medical Center, a Magnet®-recognized hospital. The CARE Unit delivers pre- and post-procedural care for cath lab, electrophysiology, and neurovascular procedures, with a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and a comprehensive orientation.

Required: MA RN license, BLS, and at least one year of RN experience; ADN is required with BSN preferred; Cath Lab or critical care

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Minimum one year of RN experience required.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Critical care or Cath Lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-procedural and post-procedural care on the CARE Unit.
• Support cath lab and neurovascular procedures with scrub/monitor/circulator roles.
• Collaborate with team for patient safety and education.
• Participate in orientation and professional development.
