Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician to provide cardiovascular patient care under supervision of licensed clinical staff.

You will demonstrate competency with treatments, procedures and equipment and meet education/certification requirements, maintaining BCLS certification. The role supports patient outcomes and requires a GED/HS diploma, completion of a nursing assistant or patient care tech program, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician program required.
• 1 year of patient care experience in a cardiovascular setting, or a certificate from a Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Technician program required.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification required upon hire.
• CNA or Patient Care Technician certification or program required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to cardiovascular patients demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment.
• Supports patient outcomes and adheres to hospital policy.

Qualifications

Education

• No experience required and a certificate from a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician program Required

Licenses and Certifications

• If incumbent does not meet the 1 year work experience, then on of the following is required Upon Hire Required
