Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team. You will provide compassionate care under supervision of licensed staff, supporting patients from birth through the lifecycle and ensuring procedures and equipment are used safely and effectively.

Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED with no experience required; there is a preference for 1 year of patient care experience and certifications such as BCLS, CNA, or a PCT program.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required.
• 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to patients from birth through the lifecycle under supervision by licensed clinical staff.
• Demonstrate competency with treatments, procedures and equipment per hospital policy.
