Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, CO, seeks a Critical Care Tech to support the RN/Physician and deliver direct and indirect patient care in a high-acuity cardiac post‑procedural unit.

This role emphasizes teamwork, patient comfort and safety in a Magnet‑designated center. Responsibilities include communicating with the care team, assisting with IVs and wound care, documenting observations, and coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient care delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EMT or Paramedic certificates or equivalent required/preferred.
• Experience as CNA, EMT or medical assistant is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with RN/Physician regarding patient observations to support treatment.
• Performs tasks as directed by the RN or physician, including basic clinical procedures to provide care.
• Document all tasks promptly in the patient record per standards.
• Maintain patient charts with confidentiality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with medicine, nursing and other professionals on the plan of care.
• Assist with daily tasks, inventory and chart completion in the unit.
