Job summary
Connected Cardiovascular Care Associates (C3) seeks an experienced Nuclear Medicine and Cardiac PET/CT Technologist to support our growing cardiology practice. You will perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures, PET/CT cardiac stress testing, and maintain patient safety within a physician-led team.
The role involves equipment operation, patient prep, IV access support, and adherence to accreditation standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT-N).
- MRT license through the Texas Department of State Health Services.
- ACLS and BLS certification currently active.
- Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and pharmacologic stress agents under physician supervision.
- Ensure accurate dosage and proper handling of radioactive materials.
- Explain procedures to patients and address questions.
- Monitor patients for safety during imaging procedures.
- Operate nuclear medicine and PET/CT equipment for cardiac scans.
- Position patients and adjust equipment for optimal images.
- Maintain records and perform quality control checks.
