Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking a Cardiac Med Intermediate RN for night shift, 24 hours per week. This fast-paced unit blends ED and ICU elements, caring for cardiac patients with select respiratory cases and no Ventilation support.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain current RN license within the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Demonstrates strong assessment skills and teamwork on a fast-paced unit.
