Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA is recruiting an RN I for the 6 West Cardiac PCU. This full-time role covers day/evening/night shifts with weekend and holiday requirements on a 24-bed Chest Pain Unit, accredited by ACC.

A sign-on bonus and relocation allowance may be available for qualifying candidates. You will deliver individualized nursing care, coordinate with the healthcare team, document in EPIC, and participate in performance improvement and patient advocacy to support diverse patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing program eligible for VA licensure.
• Current RN license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EPIC) required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for all ages.
• Collaborate with care team to develop age-appropriate plans.
• Administer treatments and medications with accurate documentation.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Contribute to performance improvement activities.
