Job summary

Lee Health in Fort Myers/Cape Coral, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the CDU Cardiac PCU. You will deliver high-quality nursing care using the nursing process, from assessment to evaluation, in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, applying evidence-based practices, and guiding patients and families through their care journey. Florida licensure and BLS are required; experience in cardiology is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; Associates or Bachelors preferred.
• Experience required; competency assessment to be completed.
• Proof of American Heart Association BLS current for a minimum of 90 days after hire.
• Currently licensed in the State of Florida.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document patient care through the nursing process with critical thinking and differentiation of urgency.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care and outcomes.
• Apply evidence-based practices and contribute to quality nursing care and performance improvement.
• Provide care within the Florida Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards, guiding patients and families.
