Job summary

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Westover Hills in San Antonio, TX is seeking a competent Registered Nurse with a focus on orthopedic, surgical, and acute care settings. The role involves independent practice with attention to patient safety andcare coordination within the OneCHRISTUS framework.

Responsibilities include administering medications, documenting patient data, and educating patients and families. Requires BLS and RN licensure, with ACLS certification and orientation within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
• Current ACLS certification required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire
• New hires are precepted by a designated trained staff member and initial on-boarding requirements are validated through competency validation

Responsibilities
