Job summary

Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a qualified OR Attendant to transport patients and assist in cleaning and stocking the OR between procedures. The role supports anesthesia staff and ensures proper stocking of supplies, including anesthesia machines, carts, and formalin containers.

Qualifications

• Operating room experience preferred.
• PCT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients from inpatient/ER/ICU to pre-op holding area.
• Assist in cleaning and stocking OR and anesthesia supplies.
• Transport specimens and blood products to/from the lab and handle formalin containers.
• Assist in positioning patients with OR staff guidance.
• Prepare OR by opening sterile supplies and ensuring equipment is ready.
