Job summary

UChicago Medicine is looking for an Operating Room Nurse to join our Cardiac Team in Chicago. This full-time position involves providing specialized nursing care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and participating in patient assessment and treatment. Applicants should have an Associate Degree in Nursing, an active RN Illinois license, and preferably a BSN. Experience in trauma and surgical scrub is a plus. The role is 100% onsite with a shift from 7 AM to 5 PM.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree Nurses must enroll in a BSN program within 6-9 months of hire.
• Maintain current CPR certification.
• Participate in Quality Improvement data analysis.
