Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Cardiology Noninvasive team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Responsibilities

1. Performs high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures in accordance with established protocols.
2. Interacts with patients, physicians, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
3. Applies knowledge of radiation protection, emergency protocols, and proper equipment utilization to maximize safety.
4. Maintains nuclear medicine equipment in optimum working condition.

Work Schedule

Part time, Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Willing to participate in continuing education to stay current with technical advances.
• AART or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification.
• Must maintain current CPR certification.
• Willingness to be trained in administering intravenous radioactive chemicals.
• Ability to assess results, problem-solve, and exercise independent judgment.
• Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles to provide appropriate patient care and ensure safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of nuclear medicine experience.
