Job summary

PIH Health Downey Hospital is seeking a Monitor Tech to provide cardiac monitoring for patients in the assigned department under the direction of the RN and Physician. You will help maintain the flow of patient care and support the clinical team.

Required qualifications include completion of an EKG dysrhythmia interpretation course or Monitor Tech certificate, typing and computer skills, and Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of EKG dysrhythmia interpretation or Monitor Tech course and/or certificate.
• Typing and computer skills.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
