Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED is required for this position.
• Successful completion of a basic cardiology course is necessary, including 40 hours of clinical orientation.
• Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficient knowledge of computer applications specific to the unit.
• Communicate effectively with internal customers and relay accurate information.
• Observe and interpret central cardiac monitors accurately.
• Notify RN in a timely manner of rhythm changes or arrhythmias.
