Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms continuously and detect irregularities.
• Recognize and respond to monitor alarms promptly.
• Notify nurses/physicians or healthcare team of changes.
• Document rhythms, alarms, and interventions accurately.
• Maintain and troubleshoot monitoring equipment as needed.
• Communicate clearly with the healthcare team about patient status.
• Advocate for patient safety and report concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other staff for timely interventions.
• Follow hospital policies and confidentiality protocols.
