Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms continuously and detect irregularities.
• Recognize and respond to monitor alarms promptly.
• Notify nurses/physicians of significant rhythm changes.
• Document observations accurately in medical records.
• Maintain and troubleshoot monitoring equipment as needed.
• Communicate clearly with the healthcare team about patient status.
• Advocate for patient safety and coordinate care with the team.
• Follow hospital protocols for monitoring and confidentiality.
