Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current CNA license in state of practice is required.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills required.
• Ability to interpret ECG/EEG interpretations or complete approved course.

Responsibilities

• Provides continuous observation of monitors for assigned patients and alerts staff of changes.
• Obtains rhythm strips and maintains documentation according to policy.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility as needed.
• Collects vital signs and other delegated measurements; documents data.
• Recognizes and reports abnormalities to licensed staff to ensure patient safety.
• Assists with procedures and equipment under supervision of licensed professionals.
• Maintains a clean, organized, stocked environment.
• Greet and assist patients, visitors, physicians, and staff as needed.
• Works in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service.
