Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer minimum of one-year secretarial experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support.
• Arrhythmia Certificate.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with transportation and discharge of patients and other indirect patient care duties as appropriate.
• Correctly interprets cardiac rhythms, communicates and documents changes to the RN of all significant changes.
• Uses the hospital charge system and helps identify nursing charges.
• Performs receptionist functions for the department and answers all telephone lines promptly.
• Maintains accurate documentation on admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Participates in the organization-wide Performance Improvement Program and related activities.
