Job summary

Aura Health is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse for a MedSurg Cardiac unit to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care on a busy inpatient floor. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to align with evidence-based standards and ensure safe, individualized care.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, mentorship, and adherence to regulatory guidelines while supporting continuous improvement and documentation for optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year recent acute care nursing experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, critical thinking, and technology skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to emergencies in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity and involves patients and families in care planning.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care through effective communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, and timely documentation.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and promote evidence-based practices.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional development and ensure a qualified workforce.
• Adhere to organizational policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements, including safety goals and quality metrics.
• Plan proactively for patient care continuity and assist in protocol development to improve outcomes.
