Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Round Rock is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift (7pm–7am) in the Acute Care Med Surg – 3West unit. Hospitalized patients require tele monitoring with cardiac focus in a 28-bed unit.

You will conduct assessments, create care plans, and support patient education consistent with the Texas Nursing Practice Act. RN license and BLS are required or obtained within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program
• Specialized field of study should be nursing
• RN license required
• BLS certification or be obtained within 30 days of start

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient assessments and develop/adjust care plans to reach outcomes.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on care plans and health needs.
• Document learning needs and ensure safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in care delivery.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and follow up with team members.
• Coordinate with colleagues and community to optimize patient care.
• Maintain professional practice standards and patient privacy.
• Support peers' development and contribute to team growth.
