Job summary

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg Cardiac 5 unit on a full-time night shift. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborate with the care team, and document care in the patient’s chart.

The hospital offers mentorship, clinical education courses, and certification support to help you grow. The ideal candidate holds an RN license with a Diploma, has one year of experience, and will obtain ACLS within six months and BLS

Qualifications

ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
RN qualification and license are required.
No travel is required; one year nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess the patient’s condition during admission and at each shift, reporting changes promptly.
Administer medications, monitor therapeutic response, and document care in the medical record.
Provide prompt, compassionate care and respond to patient needs and requests.
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
