Job summary

Providence Saint John’s Health Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Cardiac Cath Lab to perform imaging of cardiovascular, peripheral, endovascular and neuro-interventional procedures. The role requires operating radiographic equipment under supervision with adherence to professional standards.

Required certifications include AMA Radiologic Technologist training, RCIS or Cath Lab on-the-job training, California RT license, ARRT in Radiography, and BLS.

Qualifications

• AMA Approved Radiologic Technologist training program is required.
• RCIS training program is required or Cath Lab on-the-job training accepted.
• California Radiologic Technologist license required upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist – Radiography (ARRT) required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association required upon hire.
• 1 year Cath Lab/IR experience preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment to obtain radiographic images of cardiovascular, peripheral, endovascular and neurological systems.
• Perform all phases of cardiac, peripheral, vascular and neuro-interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Work under supervision of the Cath Lab Manager and physicians.
• Adhere to scope of practice and organization values and mission.
