Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System in Idaho seeks an experienced Cath Lab professional to contribute to high-quality patient care in a busy cardiovascular program.

You will perform right and left heart catheterizations and interventions as part of a dedicated 4-person call team. The role requires RCIS/RCES/RCVT/ARRT/CEPS certification and an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, along with strong teamwork and commitment to exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree or 2 years additional related experience in lieu of degree.
• Current certification in RCIS/RCES/RCVT/ARRT/CEPS required.
• Demonstrated competency in cardiovascular invasive procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform right and left heart catheters and related interventions.
• Participate in a four-person on-call team.
• Support efforts to achieve best door-to-balloon times.
• Adhere to safety, sterile technique, and regulatory standards.

What You Can Expect:

• Schedule: weekdays, 9-hour shifts
• On call requirements: one night per week and one weekend per month on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Four-person call team
• Average of 1500 Cath Lab cases annually with 500 being interventions
• Procedures include right and left heart catheters, PCI, pacemakers, ICDs, Impella insertion, IABP insertion, vascular procedures, loop recorder insertion.
• The Magic Valley team prides themselves on working as a well-oiled machine, striving for the best door-to-balloon times in the state. As a level 1 Stemi-Center with a 4-man call team, the team works together seamlessly to provide exceptional patient care.

Minimum Qualifications for this Role:

• Education: Associate's Degree, or 2 year’s additional relevant related experience in lieu of Associate's Degree
• Licenses/Certifications: Must have current certification in one or more of the following areas:
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
  • Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
  • Registered Cardiovascular Technician (RCVT)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS)
