Qualifications

• Active PA RN licensure (or multi-state via eNLC).
• CPR certification.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Background Clearance Certificate

Responsibilities

• The registered nurse provides leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Assigns or delegates tasks based on the needs of the patient and skill level of the RN, LPN or support staff.
• Promotes patient safety initiatives (e.g., National Patient Safety Goals) and participates in department quality initiatives.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team to evaluate clinical care or health services.
