RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Cardiac Technician for Jersey City Medical Center's Non-Invasive Cardiac Lab. You will perform 2D echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter hookup, and assist with TEE procedures, delivering data for physicians.

The ideal candidate holds ultrasound or cardiovascular technology training with echocardiography emphasis, CPR certification, and availability for day shifts and weekends. RDCS/RCS encouraged; ongoing education supported.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of ultrasound or cardiovascular technology program with emphasis on echocardiography.
• Successful completion of all required orientation programs is required.

Responsabilités

• Applies, removes, and logs Holter monitor usage per departmental policy.
• Performs complete echocardiograms (all modalities) and provides preliminary interpretation.
• Assists with transesophageal echocardiograms and stress testing.
• Maintains ultrasound equipment and inventory to prevent delays.
• Explains procedures to patients and provides necessary teaching.
