Qualifications

• Current RN license in the United States.
• BSN degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year cardiac nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications or must obtain within 30 days of hire date.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and pathologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cardiac assessments including vital signs and ECG interpretation.
• Administer medications and cardiac-specific treatments as ordered.
• Monitor and document progress and communicate concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and care teams to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and lifestyle changes.
• Respond to cardiac emergencies with appropriate interventions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure policy compliance.
• Participate in quality improvement and continuing education.
