Job summary

Virtua Health in New Jersey seeks a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, ensuring safe, effective patient outcomes across shifts. The RN delegates care appropriately and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred) and NJ RN licensure, with 0–1 years' experience (2–4 preferred). Night shift, 36 weekly hours, and competitive hourly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years' experience required, 2–4 preferred.

• NJ RN license required; follow Nursing Admin Manual policy.

Responsibilities

• Performs an assessment of the patient, leading to development, implementation and evaluation of a plan of care.
• Administers, monitors and documents therapeutic interventions and regimes.
• Participates in clinical decision-making.
• Educates patient and family/responsible party regarding disease process, individual care needs, wellness, safety issues, etc.
• Delegates and monitors care rendered by other members of nursing department and healthcare team.
• Participates in orientation, education and development of healthcare team.
• Identifies and participates in the performance improvement activities.
• Maintains professional and departmental level competencies.
