Job summary

Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, VA seeks an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join the Medical Cardiac ICU on a full-time night shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am). This 12-bed Beacon Award winning unit provides care for diverse critical diagnoses, including sepsis, heart failure, stroke, and cardiac arrest, with emphasis on patient- and family-centered care.

The RN will deliver safe, holistic nursing, coordinate care with the care team, educate families, and participate in ongoing professional

Qualifications

• 1 year ICU critical care experience or fellowship.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• RN license in Virginia (or eligible).
• BSN required; ADN must complete BSN within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, holistic nursing and care coordination for ICU patients.
• Collaborate with care team to deliver patient- and family-centered care.
• Educate patients and families; advocate for optimal outcomes.
• Maintain Lifelong learning and adhere to care guidelines.
