Job summary

The General Hospital Corporation is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Cardiac Surgery/Heart Center ICU team in Boston. Qualifications

• Requires Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant and active licensure.
• 2+ years ICU experience, cardiac ICU preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cardiothoracic care and perioperative management.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care and patient education in the cardiac surgery department.
• Assists surgeons in the operating room and supports perioperative care.
• Orders and interprets labs and diagnostic tests; develops care plans.
• Documents care and discharge plans, maintains timely records.
• Communicates effectively with the multidisciplinary team and patients/families.
