Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required.

• Current licensure in North Carolina as an RN or Compact state licensure.
• Greater than one year ICU, cardiac, or post-operative nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient and identify care needs.
• Organize and deliver appropriate patient care based on assessments.
• Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Maintain a safe environment and up-to-date competencies.
• Assist as charge nurse as assigned.
• Document patient care accurately.
• Administer medications as ordered by physician.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary health staff.
• Monitor care quality against outcomes and assist with costing.
