Job summary

Children's of Alabama is seeking a Nursing Advanced Practice Provider (AP P) to deliver specialized care for technologically dependent and complex pediatric patients on rotating 12-hour shifts. Eligible candidates include APNs with acute care pediatric specialty (MSN/DNP/PA) and Alabama RN or PA licensure, plus BLS and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• MSN, DNP or PA certification in acute pediatric care.
• Active licensure eligibility as NP or PA in Alabama.
• 1+ year nursing/medical experience; subspecialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous and collaborative patient care with physicians and team.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical education.
• Support inpatient management for complex pediatric patients.

Education

MSN, DNP or Post-Graduate Certificate with specialization as an acute care pediatric nurse practitioner

Graduate of master’s or doctoral level physician assistant program
