Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in direct patient care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
• AHA BLS-HCP certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care: monitor vitals (BP, oxygen, temperature) and assist with activities of daily living.
• Support patient care across sexes and ages; document observations accurately.
• Transport patients, supplies, and equipment within the facility; assist with rooming and discharge processes.
• Answer calls, assist with registration, and help visitors; maintain unit cleanliness and safety rounds.
• Participate in unit governance, scheduling support, and quality improvement initiatives.
