Baptist Health Care in Pensacola, FL is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to support graded exercise tolerance testing and ECG-related procedures under supervision. You will explain tests, prepare patients, and maintain reports and statistics.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, performing ECG and Holter monitoring, monitoring safety during exercise, managing inventory, and processing billing. Must hold a Bachelor's in Exercise Science or related field and complete an internship; active

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field required.
1 year experience in cardiac or fitness/wellness environment required.
Completed internship in cardiac and pulmonary related setting required.

Mansioni

Provides direction and oversight to those assisting/learning the exercise therapy role; i.e., new employees, exercise science or EKG students/interns.
Assists with Cardiac Stress Testing.
Performs electrocardiography (ECG) testing, and Holter monitors.
Monitors exercise for safety, monitors blood pressure at rest and during exercise, and documents procedures according to established guidelines.
Performs EKG services according to established hospital procedures.
Selects and assesses portions of test strips, interprets data or summarizes data for interpretation by medical staff.
Maintains sufficient inventory to efficiently operate the EKG services.
Performs billing for Holter and stress testing using hospital systems.
Maintains equipment by cleaning, lubricating and replacing items such as paper rolls, fuses, and bulbs.
Maintains current knowledge/certification/licensure.
