Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a casual Cardiovascular Electrophysiology (CV/EP) Technician to join the Cardiac Cath Lab team at University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank in Minneapolis, MN. The role supports complex cardiac interventions, collects data, performs scrub duties, and collaborates with cardiology and imaging staff.

Qualifications

• RTR, RCIS or RCES certification within 3 months of orientation.
• CPR certification required.
• RN or radiology-related licensure not stated; must hold applicable CV/EP credentials.

Responsibilities

• Operate monitor/recording equipment in all cath lab procedures.
• Balance/calibrate pressure transducers and amplifiers; troubleshoot ECG tracing problems.
• Scrub in and assist invasive cardiology procedures with sterile technique.
• Operate C-arm controls and ensure POC testing equipment is maintained.
• Record and manage patient data, assist with EP studies and mapping systems.
