Job summary

Aurora Health Care's Electrophysiology Clinic at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee seeks a skilled RN to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced EP/Device clinic.

You will work with a collaborative team to support complex arrhythmia patients and ensure continuity of care. Responsibilities include 9am-5pm Monday-Friday scheduling, potential weekly travel to other clinics, and strong patient education.

Qualifications

• BSN or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience, with at least one-year current experience in EP/Device clinic or 5+ years of cardiovascular experience.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Proficient in interpretation of EKG/cardiac rhythms/arrhythmias
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• CPR certification required upon hire or within 60 days of hire.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support ) certification

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm. Travel required weekly at times to other clinics as far north as Good Hope Rd. in Milwaukee or as far south as Racine. Mileage reimbursed.
• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
• This nurse will collaborate with other health care disciplines in order to provide quality and continuity of care.
