Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Electrophysiology Lab in Madison, WI. This 80% FTE, day/evening shift position works in the Prep/Recovery Cath Lab/EP Lab, with on-call potential and a 60-minute response time.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
6 months of relevant clinical nursing experience required.
EP Lab experience or related procedures is a plus.
ACLS certification within 6 months required.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized pre- and post-procedure care for adult patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, structural heart, and related procedures.
Care for a diverse patient population in a 12-bed prep/recovery unit with intermediate care skills.
Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, anesthesiologists, and Cath Lab nurses to deliver safe, patient-centered care.
Be part of a growing cardiovascular program with expansion plans to add more prep/recovery bays and rooms by 2027.
