Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital in Michigan is seeking an Electrophysiology Assistant to provide direct and indirect care for cardiac patients with pacemakers, loop recorders and ICDs. You will work with device RNs and EP MDs to ensure quality, safe, continuous care.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field and at least 3 years of progressive cardiology experience. You will handle remote monitoring, triage calls and contribute to research as directed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years progressive cardiology experience.
• Proficient with computers and web-based pacemaker tech remote monitoring.
• Ability to manage chaotic work environment with varied patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Recognize abnormalities in recordings and follow protocol.
• Remote follow-ups on pacemakers and loop recorders with documented follow-up.
• Take triage calls and respond to patient concerns with MD/nurse coordination.
• Assist in research studies as directed.
• Provide patient education through lectures and hands-on training.
• Coordinate with TTM tech and vendors to keep remote sites updated.
• Performs other duties as assigned by EP MDs and supervisors.
