Job summary

VHC Health in Arlington, VA, seeks a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join a growing cardiovascular program. This full-time, employed attending physician role involves delivering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient EP services with a collaborative, patient-centered approach.

The role blends procedural and clinical care in a modern facility, with a strong support team and opportunities to contribute to a high-performing health system in Northern Virginia.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiology fellowship.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Eligible for unrestricted Virginia medical licensure.
• Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology services.
• Manage complex arrhythmias including ablations.
• Implant and manage ICDs and CRT devices.
• Provide outpatient electrophysiology consultations and longitudinal follow-up care.
• Perform inpatient electrophysiology consultations and procedural care as needed.
• Interpret ambulatory monitoring studies and device interrogations.
• Participate in shared call coverage with cardiology and electrophysiology colleagues.
• Document all clinical care in the electronic medical record and adhere to best practice guidelines.
