Job summary

MCV Physicians in Richmond seeks an Electrophysiology clinician to provide specialized EP care and to support the academic mission in research and education. Qualifications

• BC/BE cardiologist with demonstrated skills in Electrophysiology.
• Clinically oriented and possess sufficient research and teaching experience to be eligible for academic appointment.
• Communicate effectively and work with a large multidisciplinary program.
• Participate in teaching and Fellowship programs.
• Eligible for medical licensure in State of Virgina.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Fellows and Housestaff and involvement in conferences.
• Support clinical research protocols in electrophysiology.
• Work in EP labs and rotate through inpatient/outpatient settings.
• Provide cross-coverage in outreach sites and clinics; occasional attending in ICU/ inpatient services.
• Submit billing and document care as required; participate in quality initiatives.
